Madeleine Charmaine Morrell

BIOGRAPHY

Hello! My name is Madeleine Morrell. I’m the girl you saw walking down the street that you thought was Lorde or Hannah Baker from “13 Reasons Why” for one split second. But I’m a star too, baby! I literally have true drama running through my veins, as I was raised by two opera singers in the heart of Manhattan. I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember, and as soon as I had the brain power to learn how to play instruments, I became the most annoying person in my household. When I entered high school I signed with Lenny Kravitz’s producer, Henry Hirsch, and recorded a multitude of songs with him. I wanted to be the next emo Alicia Keys. Then everything changed when I discovered Shakespeare. I was fortunate enough to be taken under the wing of my mentors at Shakespeare & Co. in Lenox, MA. The love for music I had was still there, but it became something even greater. Everything started to come to fruition and, for the first time in my life, I knew that this is where I belonged. Since then, I have been commissioned to write music for multiple Shakespeare and contemporary productions, I have perfected my gollum impression, and I’ve been a part of some pretty awesome plays and films. But I bet you’re wondering, “Did she get hired to impersonate Lorde?” You bet your butt I did; and, it got 1.6 million hits on youtube! In my spare time, I like to watch disgusting amounts of Kitchen Nightmares and Catfish, read billions of books at once, I wholeheartedly laugh at my own jokes, and I will most likely audibly gasp at your dog and will definitely politely ask you if I can pet it.
